Everyone on that mind control drug but I'm still concerned with how this girl supposedly has the maximum grade in terms of knowledge and written application, she should know about all sorts of shit when it comes to magic. Yet in every way she seems like an utter imbecile who only knows how to speak incantations without actually knowing what the fuck she or others are doing.
You'd think practical would be the follow up of study, she should know the right method to use her magic and identify others if she's such a prodigy. It makes no sense that she can't "aim" her magic if she's been following the proper motions all this time with the only caveat being backfire, especially if she's even found practical applications for that (ie. wind dodging). Knowing the signs of a mind control spell should be ingrained in her mind with her proclaimed scholastic ability.
It just irks me that she's played off as a magician with no practical but maximum theoretical knowledge whilst displaying absolutely no proficiency in anything. I get they're going for a character trope but just don't bullshit immediately and pretend nobody was looking, or at least give us some hint that she isn't a total airhead other than "I wrote my friend a potion recipe cause knowledge is only convenient when it doesn't screw up the plot".
Also a glass potion bottle stopped the same magic that blew up a fucking multidimensional castle lmfao
