I get they want FL to come into conflict... but... like... IS THERE NO ONE NEARBY???? Like, did the rest of the academy fall of a cliff into lava and disintegrate into ash?? HOW on Planet Vegeta is no one detaining her for bringing creature of the Void into the academy?!! Like, that art is fantastic. Incredibly scratchy and stylized and dynamic, but the story falls flat for me. The FL is... let’s just say she’s okay, there’s a lot of great things about her, but also a shit tonne of negatives. Am I being to harsh? I just feel like things are happening but for... no reason? No, no, they have a reason, just... a very very very VERY bad one: “because the author said so”.
