The Epilogue was much needed. Many implicit moments. I'm gonna explain it for those who would like to read because a lot of people were left confused thinking it ended sad but the ending isn't sad at all. In fact it's the opposite. The chapter is implying that Shou is taking her first steps to change which shows when she asks her mother for a cell phone and the reason is because she wants to contact and keep in touch with Chiharu and also took another step by starting to say "hey yuu" to her sister when she came back home. The haircut was symbolic as well. The pale ghost Yuu's friend was talking about that was hanging around her house is Chiharu with Shou obviously. Mind you last chapter when Chiharu said something along the lines "And if I never meet you again then I want to die right now" and the other part "I cant look for you" Implying Shou is going to have to change not just for Chiharu but also herself and that she's the ONLY one who can find her again since Chiharu is blind. Chiharu comes there to visit her dad but has to move back when school starts. The big word in that chapter was "Voice" And the four koma at the end confirmed it again that they did in fact meet and are together when Chiharu says "Shou you've got long hair again" and my favorite part of that page was Shou smiling. Her first and genuine smile. Anyways that's the ending. I do wish we got another extra chapter of them but with that good yuri fluff.
Don't waste your time with this one. This series is where character development goes to die. A promising start gives way to a finale that wants so badly to be profound and fails completely at it. Wouldn't recommend.
