Thanks for getting this out!
After staking his whole life on his quest, I'm glad Tamamura actually outright got to save Mei in some form. Will she become a Shaman King-esque guardian spirit from now on?
(And that flashback felt like something out of a Showa-era work, intentional I'd say)
Nice to see more of Ai's big family. For weal or woe, her 2nd brother is likely to pop up again down the line, but we can worry about him later.
With Seimei needing the 12 Generals to help look after Kyoto, there went my theory that Ai will take possession of them. But in exchange, she might become an item master like Tamamura?
Not in a rush for her to join the trio's haunts I suppose, letting her enjoy some normal fun like in this chapter is totally fine. Glad they can all take a breather, and had we gotten more thoughts from Keitaro and Eiko it'd have been perfect.
I can already feel when that final montage gets animated, it's going to have whatever Season 2 OP playing over it as the credits roll for the finale. All in all, an excellent quiet chapter like I hoped to wrap up the Kyoto Arc, and I can't wait to see what's next.
