Nope, the ball is too strong and it got stronger everytime it absorbed ghosts. It avoided Taisai Seikun bunrei by chance but had things go other way, it's likely would absorb Taisai. Also Yayoi kinda lucked out there, Masakado was the Guardian of Kyoto and thus the entire land itself providing him the power to defeat Taisai. Bunrei of a god from foreign land had no chance against the literal Spirit of the country.
