it is amazing to see her using her wits to figure out how to solve problems. she is a genius and very dangerous to both ghosts and the living. good thing she is focused on to find out what happened to her mother. because she is kind of a monster herself.

Realistically speaking - and I know the manga isn't going for this, but still - Yayoi would have to be or become quite messed up by doing this. You have a little child earnestly considering torture as a way to make others do what she wants. How long until she'd decide that humans aren't so different from ghosts, after all?

Horror of a different kind.

This predaton method is just kodoku isnt it!? instead venomous thing, yayoi change it to ghost @_@
You're correct. Gu is the term in Chinese and Kodoku is in Japanese. Both are essentially the same thing.

Gu sorcery, also known as gu poison, is a venom-based poison associated with cultures of south China, particularly Nanyue. The traditional preparation of gu poison involved sealing several venomous creatures, such as centipedes, snakes, and scorpions, inside a closed container, where they would devour one another until only one survivor remained. The fluids of the last surviving creature were then used to create the poison.

This is the base of graduate-production system. Only this time in the flashback, Yayoi used a group of Shinigami instead of usual bunch of vengeful ghosts.

Something tells me Graduate 0, originally being a Shinigami, will be the one that ends the secret organisation, since the organisation is perverting the cycle of life and death, and it being a bringer of death will be very effective against them.

Wow, peak chapter as usual. I really thought it wouldn’t be possible to do this with Shinigami, but here it is. Eager to see how she locks up that Graduate now.

Lol'ed when Yayoi started playing Pokémon with ghosts in the hospital. Those were her first mooks, huh? Reminds me of my ol' Zigzagoon back in the days.
You reminded me how I hate that Pokemon when I was a child. Fck Zigzagoon

I'm a bit conflicted about this. During their introduction in the F park arc, they were touted as extremely dangerous that it needs a Graduate class granny with a soul displacement skill to kill them effectively. Now, only 3 mid tier ghost with no curse skills other than the nurse can defeat the shinigami.
Plus with the shinigami's skill. It's a wonder why Yayoi won't catch anymore of the shinigami when they could potentially do an absolute beating on Kuubou ungraduated.
I guess what's gonna happen with the graduate shinigami is enough to prevent her from hunting shinigamis. RIP old lady then.

And that salt water in the mouth is so bad. All the manga arcs would be a lot less dangerous had Yayoi and the gang ran around with salt water in their mouth. And Yayoi knew about this before the manga started too. smh

Man, prequels do be retconning the main series a lot.
