I really like the bonus commentary. Fleshes out the whole affair nicely and gives some extra context to everything as well. It's sweet that the teacher's daughter is becoming a lawyer to try and help people like her father. If she's aiming to become a defense attorney, then I wish her luck. Because if Ace Attorney has taught me anything it's that that isn't an easy path in Japan.

She wants to be a lawyer because that’s exactly what her father needed to navigate his crisis. I like to think that’s a strong enough motivator for her and she’s out there giving the finger-OBJECTIONs owo

Jesus christ that last bonus commentary went a little too far with the female bully
Too far? For playing 'victim' of sexual harassment by a teacher, I thought it was a fitting end for her, especially since she dragged girls into the industry closely related to it. Karma finally got to her, same goes for the other bullies.

There's a difference between a kid pulling an (evil) prank and her in the future. It was kinda a case of "that escalated quickly." I think it should have been shown rather than just told

Kids with delinquent behaviors at an early age, without receiving the proper discipline for their actions from the right authorities, usually turn out pretty bad as they get older. It's like doing drugs. You only need to take one, no matter how small or extreme before you desire for more, same goes with bullying.

While I do understand why it would be better to 'show' the kids' futures instead of putting it all in an afterword, it also demonstrates that their roles in the story are much less important than we thought, enough that they're not worth making a reappearance at a later date, even if they became ghosts after their deaths.

The extreme ending to the student who made the accusations was really just to make the audience feel "ahhh, that person got their just desserts, do bad deeds, receive a bad ending, karma". The audience feels a catharsis from the sensation that "ultimately justice prevailed".

Truthfully, that Bonus Commentary was a bit too much realistically speaking as it's full of karma notions and cliché.

So, i would consider it as a the curse worked rather than being misfired, else it feels too convenient.
