@Catatomi You're correct. I'm Christian and I do divination as a hobby when I feel Spirit guide me to do so. And using the Rune oracle cards were a gift from God in how they greatly helped me when I used them many years ago. But it's true that there are some Christians that don't believe in that kind of thing. Although, technically she's Catholic. Not sure how the majority of Catholics view fortune telling.

As a Catholic, I can say we do not participate in any fortune telling: divination, Tarot cards, Ouji boards, etc. We believe it's Satanic in nature so it's a HUGEEEE no-no to do it, even just messing around is bad.

I apologize to anyone that does it, but this is our belief.

edit: also, I hope the priest isn't a love interest, but with him being young and good-looking I have a feeling it's gonna happen

As hot as the priest is… I’m really hoping he’s not the ML. Priests are supposed to be celibate. Even if this is a manhwa, I can’t accept it (unless he’s really serious about her and quits being a priest).

Anyway! Thank you for picking this up! I remember going through the raws on Naver. This has potential :)

@Catatomi technically speaking, fortunetelling is considered demonic in nature by Catholic theology. It isn't enforced much anymore, but it is still part of their teachings. IIRC Korean Christians are usually Presbyterians or Catholics, and I think Presbyterians share this particular teaching. So, somebody trying to be a good Catholic would likely at least know they are not supposed to consult a fortuneteller.
