@Duckiedoggo you mean me? As you posted the rules in the last chapter, he needs to put on his cleat as soon as the ball is stopped at the latest.
Since the ball never went out of bounds or a foul occurred, he never had the chance to get it back and put it on.
It's been two counter attacks in a row

I didn't know about that part in the rule book before you posted it, but it nonetheless went according to the rules so far.

with your goddamn logic, the jersey is unimportant and only hindering the players, means it should've been removed. Same goes with the shin guards.

@duckiedoggo exactly as you said. "When the ball is out of bounds" - which the ball never has been.
I might've missed the time he lost his shoe (help me out with the chapter#), but in the last two chapters the ball was never out of bounds or stopped. The ball has been in play and rolling nonstop.

@stonefinger that's the latest, you know. The latest time you should put back your cleats on is when the ball is out of bounds/ the game stopped. Before that, you still had to put it on quickly.

And the one who's in an possesion of the ball musn't allowed to play with one cleats off. It will risk him to injury, and made the opposing tea unable to do a contact, which is very unfair.

He lost his cleats 1 chapter before this one.

And the game stopped when the goalkeeper made a save in this chapter. There's no reason for him to not wearing his cleats, that's just pure bad writing from the author.

But eh, would be easier if i start to labeling this manga as a "super power bullshit" sports manga from here on lmao.

@duckiedoggo i see where you’re coming from, he lost his shoe in 272 when his teammate stepped on his shoe.
However, in no panel since then there was a stopped ball. Even the save just not now might’ve been only a deflection that led to yet another counterattack.
So technically the ball is still in play since he lost it, he’s just too dumb to put it back on. He legally has time until a stopped ball.

This wouldn’t be the first instance in this manga where the author bends the rules a bit to the extreme to make his story more dramatic, where there’d be a different outcome in real life.

@stonefinger it was supposed to be in this chapter. But i see that the author didn't show anything after the keeper's save to let the "no cleats" element isn't in the wrong zone.
