@ghostt I think it’s to make him look childish and immature. If you go back to when he’s seriously playing matches he loses the blush and it makes him look mature and stern. It’s a good trick to show his mental focus and drive overcoming his nervousness and naivety.

Maybe to distinguish him from other characters, Tsuku looks too much like a NPC.
