That so? We never ate any of the chickens on our farm. They were for eggs and shows only. And honestly I wasn't best fond of the chicken eggs. Once you've had duck eggs, chicken eggs just taste too bland.
I did once put some chicken in my mouth by accident when I was a kid, but I spat it out instantly, retched up my stomach contents and had to thoroughly clean my teeth. Most of the time the smell would be enough to stop me even getting near, so whether there is a taste different between normal chickens and factory-farmed ones is of no real consequence to me.
