This is obscenely op ability. It's like if you gained 5 levels every time you died in dark souls. The premise has me seriously doubting. Hopefully he won't end up dumpstering everyone after he powers up and just progressing infinitely with no resistance or there is some catch to this.

I actually hope he's smart enough to power level it and body everything effortlessly. No resistance would fit the best.
