The cool cleaner kid is someone I can relate to so far, not a brag. As far as we know so far, he looked at death images. I have occasionally for years as a sort of challenge (death photos and much, much worse. We'll leave it at that). It actually changed me psychologically, but I feel I've become more empathetic, understand the bigger picture better, and have learned about life and death (& those who cause it) around the world. Maybe it's exploitative, voyeuristic. But I feel like I have some sort of duty to look. It's hard to explain. I have to confront reality. Also, going back to that character, animal deaths are especially hard for me. Some might be offended by this, but individual experiences shape us.
I've actually wondered if I should do this sort of work. I'm already quite experienced as a housekeeper. I'm not sure what these jobs are called or how to find them, but maybe I ought to look into it if I'm out of work.
