how many volume it have? i only read 2 volume and it ended after this arc done.

Indeed, light novel only have 2 books that I know of. I think it is same for Japan, didn't get too poppular and got shafted.

I've read the webnovel up to volume 5 I think. The fan translations were getting worse and worse and at some point they stop entirely. I had to use deepl to get some way into the last chapter but the mtl was so bad I had to stop.

Still, if webnovel is still available I'd suggest reading it. Deathbound Duke's daughter and Heroine survival are two female action protagonists that I can hardly get enough of.

For anyone wondering, volume 4 is the last volume of the manga (ends on c27), so this was definitely axed/to be continued/buy the LN to find out more. The LN was also axed. RIP.

Dragon riders use telepathy to communicate with their dragon, and August was born with such a cheat-level of telepathy that it frightens normal dragon. Later on he learns how to control it and basically communicate with a whole city worth of dragons. Also he's basically the only on who can control people.
