"I don't have my heels on"
Debby that's like 5 feet worth of height, the hell kinda shoes you wearin?!
Side note: It looks like Rokuro is getting a relationship flag with Debby. I guess there wasn't much else you could do with these two besides romance and humor.
It's been hinted for a while to be honest on the romance part. Not just when sick but things like when she forgot that she was gaming to destroy the world and constantly wanting to be with Rokuro throughout the series. It's cute how small Debby truly is. Also crazy if Rokuro and Debby end being a couple, I didn't expect that from this manga at all. However, thinking about it, we already got some hints of it on the chapter where Debbie was sick.
Yeah looking back on it, it's pretty obvious. It's been hinted for a while to be honest on the romance part. Not just when sick but things like when she forgot that she was gaming to destroy the world and constantly wanting to be with Rokuro throughout the series.
Sad huh? how it has more relationship progress then rom coms lolYeah looking back on it, it's pretty obvious.
A gradual romance, unforced by cliches....a rare thing indeed.Sad huh? how it has more relationship progress then rom coms lol
It's often easier for it to be gradual if it isn't the main focus. You can just have small moments here and there rather than focus most of the plot's attention to it.A gradual romance, unforced by cliches....a rare thing indeed.
This is true, however I think it highlights the issue with a lot romance-fiction writers. They place the onus on trying to make romance the main and sole function of the story, when it should be character driven with in-universe goals with romance as the second most subplot. It's often easier for it to be gradual if it isn't the main focus. Your describing what most sports series get there, it's so weird how rom-com is the worst at the rom part normally.A dude that wants to become a professional archer? Have the love interest be someone to keep him grounded but still encourage him to follow through the tough times. I'm beginning to rant but I think this is one of the aspects I appreciate of this series. It's just doing it's own thing happily without being forced to.
