Nah, that ain't how it works. Gag characters essentially hang on at 1 hp, no matter what and then regen near instantly. If you want to kill them, you need to hit them between the micro-instance of taking damage and regenerating, however, that would be like attacking mid-transformation or power upping.

In this chapter, you can see the evolution of the drawings of Temari. I think her :3 face is far less pronounced and the drawings now make her more cute and less "comical". (For those wondering, she's introduced in chapter 2) Apart from the :3 face, I can't really pinpoint what are the differences. Maybe the eyes or the shape of her face?

I was wondering when it'd happen and that's where. When you look at the vol 7 cover, you can see she's drawn differently than in the first chapters of the manga.

It's interesting to see the evolution of the mangaka.
