Either it’s a representation of fear of loss? Or probably a foresight of a tragedy (keisuke hanging himself in the forest ?) a warning ? Or she took acid

could the forest represent a sense of suffocation, or like a feeling of helplessness, being lost that her previous period of life brought her and keisuke being that butterfly that lead her out of this predicament and now she has a realisation or like reflects upon what has happened

Couple months late, but I really enjoyed this minimal little one shot. Excellent line economy— the author is able to convey so much with just a few lines (relatively speaking). Especially love how minimally they drew the forest. Will definitely be reading more of their work!
