It's funny yet very aggravating when artificially dollying up is somehow "having pride as a woman", but being your natural self isn't. And I don't mean just in this manga, as you obviously see a lot of the same shit everywhere, fiction and real life alike. To me it's quite opposite, if you take no pride in your natural self you abandon your pride as a person by trying to be something you're not.
