You have MC, Serena, Olgar and Kagura against Zagan, Lorenzo, Asuna and Elva.
Olgar is the first casualty, but it doesn't count so he gets restored.
Asuna and Elva, and then Olgar and Kagura are out, the remaining four fight one-on-one.
MC fights Zagan and loses his sword.
Serena shows up looking like crap - apparently beat Lorenzo off-screen.
She distracts Zagan, who instantly blasts her into paste.
MC recovers the sword and fries Zagan's ass.

I was wondering why the reviews were bad since only 4 chs. but yeah this is shit.
Author wanted an MC who doesn't have cheat skills and grows with his own strength but what he made is a pathetic MC who can't use his royal name for his own good and can only shout his friends name as they get defeated. It wasn't a sudden fight either, they had 1 month but they had no tactics at all.
MC won just because his opponent was massively underestimating him and he got a fluke hit.

And I severely doubt the no cheats claim too. First chapter had someone talking to him when he was being reborn, about a blessing and being sorry.
Maybe he did get a cheat but it overwrote his sacred mark, hence they're sorry. Maybe it needs conditions to be activated too which he is unaware off.

it was a mess narratively-speaking as well, so maybe the art was being faithful to the plot of the scene.

The fact Zagan attacked before the start of a sanctioned duel in front of the professor and the professor just goes "well what can you do a real fight wouldn't follow rules"

Like...isn't the point of structured education to teach with rules in place while people are figuring things out?
Hope she gets fired. But like, out of a cannon and into the Sun, type of fired.

not only that, but everyone looking absolutely the same too, and all of them having the same name (aka "not a name I managed to remember yet, so I will forget which name was used here, in 3 panels") doesn't help either

The action scene was so fucking trash, suddenly noone is visible for no reason and they jus point at someone once and they die one hit. Everyone dies one hit just by being pointed at and the girl somehow was the only one that managed to fuck that up shooting "SOMETHING" at the dude from behind point blank.

I explained in the comments on one of the other chapters its not the author. Its actually the manga adaptation thats a complete mess. If you check the raws, its way too different.

Maybe the story still sucks, but this manga is definitely way worse. How did the editor or author approve this? Lol
