Surely there must have been a better way to write this? Acting so chivalrous, and constantly name dropping her as if you're so well acquainted, for a girl you've only said hello to is just... well, it's the opposite of cool, I'll say that much.

Anything short of that child being arrested, tortured, and executed is completely unbelievable. It's clear the emperor doesn't consider Ares illegitimate or lesser standing (even though he's a worthless and pathetic father), so a noble child insulting and assaulting an imperial prince has 1 conclusion. And his family would 100% support it otherwise their whole household would be executed.

Insults to a royal child are the same as insults to the king, aka, the country. Beat up? Nah, try banishment, life imprisonment, or even possible execution. The unrealistic melodrama added to some these manga, yeesh😑.
