The manga is really forcing the daydreamer thing here. Maybe the novel did it better, hard to say, without having read it. Elk and Minato haven't been together for that long, so for Elk to speak of such abstract things seems out of place. All of what she has observed so far would be perfectly explained by Minato being extremely strong compared to anyone she has known and being wealthy. He's simply so strong he doesn't need to give a shit about any danger they have seen so far. He's so wealthy, plus easily able to make even more money, that Elk's money troubles are simply nothing in his eyes.
In RL, if you take some ordinary woman with meager income and debt, and have her interact with a 198cm tall chad bodybuilder who also happens to be a millionaire, the woman would feel like there could be a world of difference between how they behave and see the world. She wouldn't go out alone in the middle of the night to prowl the city streets, while the strong, confident guy would be the one others avoid, not the one doing the avoiding. She would carefully consider all of her purchases, looking for discounts and cheaper brands, while the man would immediately buy the best quality of anything he happens to need. He could also entertain her with fancy cruises and three star dinners, just because they would both be having fun, so it's worth it. Would she suddenly start telling him that he sees the world like a fantasy novel?
The succubus mum, however, would know what she's talking about. She looked after Minato for 16 years. The problem is Elk alone.
