Sure, the derpy eyes are kinda weird, but aside from that, it's not worse than other isekai. And at the very least it is not entirely game-like aside from him having an AI inside his phone. An isekai without stats and titles and similar shenanigans like that is already a win in my book.

They could made 2 series, one serious (this one) and another in 4-koma format for the comedy.
