Wait what? Let me look at it againThe text says "we have to pass through the western plains to get to the fluttering forest", but the map calls it "the Eastern plains"
I think the OSO or living dead God Princess one, had different names for them, but radiating out from the starter town, each zone was a higher difficulty. So each town with its own related zones, was still ranked on the map grid relative to its distance from the starter zone.I'm not sure I've actually seen any game that has areas in that way. First area, sure. Town, and areas around. But after that it tends to go to a different town and do it again, rather than having another circle around it. I mean, sometimes there are more areas outside the first ones, but not so circular. You also probably wouldn't have two forests and two plains, but something else instead.
It's already established that information comes at a premium in the game, and he's already connected with someone in the largest information network, so if they had anything that could be of interest to him they'd have approached him already trying to sell it.This, "I've never heard of that, let's pick it," mentality is kind of unusual for gamers. Explorers, yes, but most others would try to look up if there's any info to be found.
I'm talking about real games.I think the OSO or living dead God Princess one,
He's an explorer. Like one of those I mentioned that would do something like that. Most protagonists in mangas like these tend to be explorers. He's also a pioneer of sorts
In real games the different towns are in different level ranges, not a circle obviously, but the farther you get from town the stronger the enemies until you get to the next town. That's assuming you aren't playing one of those games where every thing is scaled to your level and the chosen difficulty setting.I'm talking about real games.
