You’re killing it!

Since you aren’t a native speaker, idk how the examples that baconcat gave sound to you, but it sounds wrong to a native speaker’s ears. And so, this trick that he did can be a good check on “its” vs “it’s”. (Replacing “it’s” with “it is” to see if it sounds right)

Always this non-argument around being or not being native in some language. Reality check: Not knowing, even not caring to know, works in any language. You either learn, be critical with yourself, and look up things you're not sure about, or you don't and might as well parrot the half-assed drawls from YouTube comment sections and similar dredges of idiocracy.
