The capsule technically wasn't "made for" VR dives, as in its primary purpose. It was made for body transformation. The VRMMO is to keep his mind occupied during the process and to give him a head start on getting used to being a vampire.

Freya/Hijiri has an obvious crush on Crim/Kou that did not go away in the slightest when she became a girl. In the WN Freya is the only one who's blood Kou is willing to drink after the first time in the village (compared to the manga where she's afraid to tell Hijiri she needs to drink blood in game occasionally because of the trauma she has about the time she bit Hijiri when they were kids). This causes them to become very close, starting to act like a couple pretty early on with a lot of the viewers of their live streams jokingly clocking them, which eventually leads to a confession and then they start dating properly.
They even get an aquarium date so you know it's real.

Man, I thought we were in the middle of a guild tournament or something, but what is this? I know relying on Crim alone is bad, but are we going to keep getting this long ass development for every character in the guild?

The last round of the tournament was nearly 20 whole chapters, eating up all but maybe 1 chapter of two whole volumes. 6 Chapters is hardly a long time. We had another detour related to another guild member in that desert sci-fi dungeon.

I don't think it's been stated how long they've been deposed from the Sacred Mountain. We also don't really get anything for Oni lifespans either. After all, other oni only say that Oni "her size" aren't old enough to go out on their own. Could be the entire shebang happened a short time ago, or a long time ago and she just has a very long life.

A third option; Recessive Genes. Not necessarily a cursed existence, since she's noted to be able to use Healing magic, something Oni apparently are bad at or simply can't use.

really the whole Gender Bender thing feels unnecessary, not including why make it just a fantasy world. And wasn't it supposed to be a brand new game? Last time I started an MMO, you didn't see gigantic guilds massively overpowered players in a few weeks; it went live. I get it if it were a game thats been around for five years or more, but it literally just started. so another thing that seems forced.
