Hmm... don't know if it counts as griefing, but I once "held hostage" a WC3 custom map, War of the Third Age, match as the last standing player, Gondor, on my team, with no way of winning really. However, I was good at defending my base. So I did it for 2 hours and won eventually by everyone on the evil team giving up and disconnecting.

I skimmed through the raws currently out. This match is still going even at the latest chapter. So we got like 13+ chapters of this and it's still going based on the raws.

Here's some spoilers: Mainly about PK team and PK leader's motivations

PK Team is actually cooperative, just their tactics don't mesh well with Crim's team. It's pretty much the type of tactics that use your allies like distractions and meat shields, or taking out your allies at the same time as your enemies. It's not the kind of tactics normal players would normally use.

Now onto PK Leader, she's being stupid and petty. She's only sabotaging Crim and at one point pushed Crim into an enemy attack. PK leader is trolling at this point. I don't know what the end goal was, maybe it was to anger Crim enough into becoming a PKer. But her motivations was definitely doing it to basically one up Crim and maybe convert Crim into a PKer.

Well this does annoy Crim enough, Crim uses a particular skill to trap PK leader into a situation to get triple teamed by the enemy players. However, Hinagiku saves PK leader and says something to her before her HP zeroed and is taken out of the match.

Crim and the PK team retreat after this.

While hiding somewhere, Crim has a talk with PK Leader and asks things like why and such. PK leader doesn't know how to respond. Some more things are said and PK leader heads outside to clear her head while guarding. Crim and the PK team talk about some things. Including how PKing had caused some kids who had enjoyed the game to quit.

PK team seemed to not have been motivated to play the game normally, somehow using the excuse "it's just a game" to either justify themselves or why they were half assing things. But seeing how Hinagiku saved their leader, they started thinking about actually competing. PK leader comes back having thought things out and finally tries to take the match seriously, however she tries to make it seem like she's not doing it cause of Hinagiku. Stating that there's still time in the match to win. And she'll make up for the trolling.

Also there's a bit about how PK team talked about how THEY are supposed to be adults and how a young kid is more mature than them in the game. And is one factors of their change of attitude.

TLDR: PK team was basically half assing everything and not taking the match seriously while PK leader was being stupidly petty towards Crim alone. It takes Hinagiku's sacrifice to get PK leader to stop it and motivate the PK team to take the match more seriously.

We have 13+ more chapters of this one fight while dealing with these idiotic PKers? Fuck that. Imma just bounce until this is at chapter 90

Man, I know it'd put them at a disadvantage, but if the PVP team lead is not only hampering discussions, but actively griefing attack plans, I with Crim would just bite the bullet and kill her. She's gonna be a deteriment anyway, just get it done with.

Anyways there's this one Zed that got ridiculously good mechanic and god forbid macro. He decided to troll cuz he didn't get mid (he's an autofill supp). He asked for a swap when I'm at slot 1 with 2s to lock. I mean, his op.gg looks fine and all so I thought "Zed supp? I mean, it's freaking Gold". And somehow, I played Viktor support.

And if only that mf grief. No, he has to go around and messed up all of our resources. Though by some miracles (his omni-presence) the enemy team let us scale for free. And after him got some picks and me bootlicked him for like 20 mins straight he went and pushed bot while I somehow got 19 kills and carried the whole game.

This one time I got griefed in minecraft by an admin. I just started the server and went mining and found a few diamonds exposed in a cave around lava. The admin was following me the entire time while invisible. They spawned/pushed me into the lava because they thought I was cheating.... I was too young then to realize what was really happening exactly so I continued to play on that server with my mother... Got "griefed" bullied plenty...

They go into it at the extra chapters in the web novels, each top player got their own forum threads but Crim's keeps spilling over to the general discussion threads lmao. It is pretty safe to say that she becomes the most popular player in the game quite quickly lmao.

I wish these chapters were longer. The wait between them doesn't justify how short they are. It'll definitely read well binged through, but on this bi-weekly schedule it really wrecks the pacing.
Edit: Is this manga weekly or bi-weekly. The chapter count per volume and number of pages feel like a weekly affair, but the art suggests otherwise.

The worst grieffer i ever had to dealt was a clan in Foxhole.
I had just spend more than twenty hour building an entire fortifier bunker in concret in solo, with all garison needed, then one day a clan of bastards decided that they could do whatever they wanted and modified the entire fortress.
This resulted in it being useless and failing to the enemy attack in a few minute instead of lasting for days.
Because of this we lost of one the main city as it was the only defensive position at the south.

These dude never got banned despite the screenshot and in game logs of team repeteadly killing me and messing up with my building, and the dev even defended them.
I strangely could never get into the game since then.
