Thank you for the clarification, I was harsh with my comment but is just that we know they're bad and the previous two or three chapters were pretty obvious showing that so my sentiment was pretty much "get over with it already!" and clearly my patience can't handle weekly series anymore, at least not this time.
I think the manga has great fights, it's a shame that they have to struggle like this with pettiness because they had bad luck with matchmaking.

It's actually the reason why I skimmed ahead via the raws. To me, I read the fanTL of the WN that's being done right now, I don't think I recall this ever being a thing in the WN, same with Lycoris getting her rifle side quest story. I believe this is all new material from the LN version or are manga exclusive, I haven't been able to confirm it yet though.

We haven't gotten to the more interesting parts because manga keeps slowing down the progress with these parts and giving them more chapters. It'll take probably like a year or so before we even get to Crim aka Kou finally getting out of VR and stuff.

Novel wise there is a lot of interesting material.
