According to chapter 1, MC help his father by testing some kind of medical device which can also connect to the game.

And as per his father "request", MC has to login for 3 month straight.
I now gonna reread Chapter 1 again... also, I, more or less, didn't expect him to connect in the first hour of the game's launch (also cause he was late).

I cannot find the page you are talking about in chapter one. However, he referred to it as a "Brand New Gaming device" and then said right after "The technology is based on Regenerative Treatments using gel capsules." Not too sure if that is what you meant.

However, while reading, I did find what u meant by his father's "request"
(He's forced to) for three months. The goal was to "become the best" PVP player.

Neither did I find the page you said "MC helps his father by testing"
(He never said testing in the chapter) cause he said "Just for you, Kou, I've developed a Brand New Gaming Device. I'll have you play DUO with this" so not really too sure wat u meant.

Tl;dr, I didn't find the pages.
Also, my apologies for the big wall of text and if it did sound harsh.

:shamihuh: 480 hours is enough to make me puke any grinding game. There are ones I have played for longer but over the span of months and years

It's very common for the MC to find out a lot about new skills, combinations, NPCs, exploration, and other game content that really should've already been explored. The "no one tried that combination before" doesn't hold up with the number of players most of those games have.
that is exploration, I mean absolutely abusing the game, how many XP farm you see, not matter the game is xp is a thing some people will immediately try to find a way to break it.

Something I always find weird (and also why xp in your world lore is generally a bad idea) is how many isekai have slime that give xp but nobody is like you know making a actual slime farm like you do have for cow but instead of milk/meat focused on XP, worse of all it could be a interesting plot line, heck maybe you could try to breed new species that are optimized to get you the maximum XP, like cow are optimized for milk production, competing farm design and their geopolitical power, WHAT EVER if you put a system in you world (especially one that is a transformative a a fucking xp system) do something interesting with it

to be fair crim is more in the "live the game" than playing it, heck even the friends you tech assume you can place yourself and have pretty much full control over the avatar and in a word that is as close to real (if not reality seeing the massive hint that the mother is) so probably not truly comparable to our experience of a game but more like our experience to a life (hyper realistic in the sense it is more than our reality but still probably closer to reality than a game is)

Well, there is that witch... But generally low level mobs become completely obsolete for XP after a while, so a farm wouldn't be useful for long. What I've generally seen is just running some high level area, often a resettable instance, which is very efficient to run for XP. So not necessarily the strongest enemies, but the ones you can kill the fastest in the highest amounts while still getting decent XP from them.

On the other hand, item drops tend to be much more valuable than XP, since you hit the level cap much faster than getting the best gear, and those tend to be what you get from raids and other end-game challenges. But for XP, that makes it weird when it always takes so long time for all characters to reach the level cap (or the practical cap for the released content, which may not be the technical level cap).

Yeah I did have the witch in mind but first thing first in a world where you can just accumulate XP from the most harmless monster indefinitely that is exactly the type where farm would be, also it would automatically make every long lived race way more OP, and XP should probably just ramp up as age go.
But at 20 slime a days with 365 days a years and 300 years she did kill like what ? 2.2 millions slime... I pretty sure I killed more slime in Minecraft than her lol (thanks farm).
So yeah I do think if the slime witch was going for a little more than a chill SOL it would the world would make no sense, but well that is not the point of the story so whatever (even if missed opportunity in my book)

Regardless of going late, the game hadn’t officially launched yet per page 19.

Page 17: “I’m going to be a playtester for a new game, right?”

You're are correct, I just meant he said he has to do school at least he said he was going to do, but his father forced him basically to play the game 24/7.
And also the fact the guy said it was a medical device, It still isn't. lol

His father said he would be attending school while in the game but that’s not for another 10 days so we don’t see now that works yet. The Cradle was based off a treatment device.

Well, it was based on a treatment device, you're also correct on that, he said it was though not based but yeah.

Also, I completely forgot he would be taking the school "while in the game" (somehow) so yeah, but I do agree with you on the points. I was just dumb. lol
