My guts telling me that the killer is the actor of Kaede, just too early to see how she pulled it off.

The culprit being Heiji's actor feels too telegraphed, like a red herring. Left with the first victim, late arrival to the first crime, now him trying to take a nap next to the balcony when the second crime occurred. He could've done some funny business under the sheets to cause the second victim to fall but I don't know yet.

Also, the police doing interrogating a suspect while he's on the can is hilarious. Reminds me of this situation that happened to this dude.

might be the classic door-string-balcony trick if it's the Kaede's actress yeah, tho I doubt it will be that trick this time

the 2 stacked coolers in the balcony might be used for another trick

Tenma probably has a disease of some kind or takes some special meds. The culprit could be Yuka but seems also too easy tmo. I'd rather go for Yoshiura. The string trick seems outdated, there's probably more to that. The coolers may be part of the trick or may contain something dangerous. Nobuya could be next on the list. Seems like someone wanna put the charge on Tenma for some reason, or maybe just like Satoru Maeda he takes the blame to protect someone... Hard to say, but the case is lit.

I'm mostly curious about how the arms are positioned the way they are. Maybe the first one was coincidence, and they went with it? Since they dropped the phone after everyone arrived.

I think I'm most suspicious of Kaede/Kuraishi. She reacted a bit too strongly by fainting, plus she said "is it true she fell?" while Tenma asked about her jumping. Usually in this series, having characters say different words like that is suspicious. She's also probably the "rival in love" Kakiwaki mentioned since there's not any other female suspects left. I'm betting Kakiwaki threatened her to let her have the Kaede role or else she'd tell the police, she was being way too suspicious and cryptic in that interrogation.

Though the guy being in the bathroom stall feels like it must tie to this somehow. That's way too weird and random to not be relevant. Maybe he and Tenma both got food poisoning, and that ties to whatever is happening?

I'm down to 2 suspects..the actor playing not! Heiji...and the fainting actress. The wounded gazelle gambit is always a great play to throw people's suspicion off.

The body placement of the victims being the common thread in this themed murder seemed forced. If how the body laid down like that is a vital clue in solving the mystery. I'll change my mind on it. Otherwise, this feels like an attempt to not mimic Spider Mansion's corpse presentation that becomes... lamer.

Actors and some "specific" death pose...feels like a fake death will be among us soon

The fainting is super sus to me, so my guess is that actress did it.

Also the way the second victim shouted is weird. I feel like that person might have been suspended on the railing somehow, before the opening door dropped her.

If you go back to the 1088 case that preceded this one you'll see how the director back then, Kabumoto, got the nickname of the Marionette Devil. He doesn't just drill lines into his actors, but he controlled their lives outside of the stage too including encouraging murder, affairs and probably all manner of shit and made it clear that he approved if it gave a better performance.

Kuraishi has admitted that she was in the previous production and in teaching her the Kyoto accent it's likely Kabumoto was taking a special interest in her and grooming her in a similar way to the perpetrator of his own murder was. That isn't the same as proof, but I am guessing it will be a factor, because it is the shadow of Kabumoto and how he manipulated people that is the focus of what's happening. It's not just the 2 actresses posed like marionettes, but the current director getting hit by a car too. I think it won't be Kuraishi who is the murderer, but bad treatment of her that forms the motive.

Look back at what happened on page 13 of the previous chapter, especially the bottom 2 panels on the page. If Tenma loves his school friend and is maybe a bit unhinged (as people often are in DC) then Narasawa signed her own death certificate right there. It usually isn't the most obvious suspect, bearing in mind everyone else was in the same room so, unless a trick was somehow used everyone else apart from the next victim was alibied, up, but maybe this time it is, so that a large part of the chapter can be taken up with Hattori confessing his love. Nothing is a greater aphrodisiac than a confession of love high up in the sky by a big window after you've just seen 2 people falling to death, right guys?
