Thinking back, I guess the part where Kazuha was describing her mother as very strong and beautiful is when they have made the switch, I always felt it was a bit too much praise. But they sure have fooled me.

I don't get the need to add Momiji into the fray in the end, only to end it like this and she doesn't get that much screen time anyway as a love rival.

Unless the important key part is the butler, to progress with the main story.

Originally, up the penultimate chapter, I was thinking the actor of Kaede was the serial killer even when the suspicion of Heiji's actor was overwhelming. It was either him or her because the actor of Mouri didn't have much screen time, being stuck in the bathroom. However by the 4th part of the case, even I had to admit it was the actor of Heiji who's behind the crimes but I didn't expect the first death to be an accident. I can see why the actor of Kaede was in distress throughout the entire case.

Ah for the case, I like the theme, but the murderer had an insane amount of luck that his sleeping trick wasn't exposed, or nobody noticed him tamper with the bodies.

With that said, I'm glad Heiji finally, finally managed to confess his feelings to Kazuha! Heiji's my favorite character in the manga and I hate how many times he got screwed over trying to confess while the main couple (Shinichi and Ran) is lightyears ahead of them. Now that both couples are together, the possibility of a double-date murder case setting might actually come!

It's not over for Momiji...I don't think she's going to give up yet.

For the story, she's part of a powerful family and her grandfather is a former primer minster. She may be an entryway for BO related plots in the future.

For the next case, I'm hoping it has something to do with Sera and the continuation of the Akai family plotline. Sera and her mom, Mary knows Conan is carrying a drug that can revert a child-like being back to their original state. On multiple occasions Sera tried harassing Conan and Haibara for the drug to no avail and it's only a matter of time before Sera take stronger tactics to acquire the drug. Since Conan knows Sera is willing to go to great lengths to get the drug (like trying to expose his secret to Ran), he needs to find a way to stop Sera's mission for good and hopefully gain new allies to stop the BO (Sera's mom, a M16 agent and the old man with the ventilator who's most likely Hanea's father and may be of aid to take down Rum).

Also, Sera and Mary still need to reunite with Shuichi, somehow. Sera is connecting the dots that Shuichi and Subaru are one in the same, she gotta find out the truth eventually...

The fact that nobody saw him being at an open second-floor balcony located near a freshly-fallen dead body and throwing a large bag to the ground is just chalked-down to luck? Seriously?

So this serial murder isn't a planned one? Does that mean this guy always brings liquid gallium at just the right amount to melt balcony railings every where he goes?

Ah yes, I just killed a person (accidental but still), and two more people were murdered for me. That's the kind of event that encourages me to live. And solving a serial murder always puts me in a lovey-dovey mood afterwards.

Wonder if Momiji will still be sponsoring the play, or if she will just move on to the next petty rich-people thing. Considering her track record, no way she's giving up this easily.

I guess the lesson is if you wanna blackmail someone, don't do it on rooftops.
