Who even remember kiriko busujima now? Last time she kinda appeared and it was vermouth disguising as her.

It was her only appearance actually.
One of the few criminals that were never arrested in the series.

Gosho Aoyama is 62 now, retirement age in Japan is 65. I expect he plans to have Detective Conan wrapped up by the time he retires, possibly KK as well.
