When I watched the anime, there was a scene that after scolding the culprit, the granny closed the second's victim eyes.

The victim must have been terrified seeing the tub slowly fill to drown her while she was powerless to do anything. It was touching to see the granny give the second victim some closure.

Okay and who's gonna give the same closure to Yaeko? I actually agreed with the killer here. Those two arrogant piece of shit deserved this. Especially the woman. They're essentially killer themselves. They left a poor woman to die because they're too busy being stupid idiots during a storm. She died in the middle of an ocean all alone during a storm, probably fighting for her life. The bitch at least died in a bathtub at her home. What that granny said at the end there is kinda stupid ain't gonna lie.

Hell, Yaeko could've suggested that she'll go back and bring more life jackets and those two idiots probably said no because they thought her life isn't worth it. Fuck them bro. Like genuinely, this is the first time I've actually agreed with the killer with this manga. Didn't even felt this way the Moonlight Sonata murder. Sorry for the outburst.

There are culprits in this series that I truly feel symapthic for because they're not all completely wicked. There are ones that I wish the justice system in Conan's world will give them leniency for the crimes that they've committed.

But for Conan, the granny and others, murder is not justice, and especially for Conan, it's a hard line nobody should cross.
