Honestly one of the scarier cases in Detective Conan. For the Manga readers I would recommend the experience of watching this particular episode atleast once in the Anime, does it a lot more justice in my opinion. Imagine a mini horror film with the creepy noise, dark background, characters on the edge tip toeing by and more that the genre offers and you'll be impressed just how much detail it was done in.

I completely agree with the first comment, the anime episode of this gave me chills. Especially when it came down to the look in the librarians eyes, damn scary. One of my favorites from the earlier cases, along with the last one. The manga portrays the librarian’s faces really well too, but the action involved in the anime really helped fill the back and forth filled with tension.

Oh boy this was scary. Especially when he turned around to see the lights on and when Conan looked outside he was gone. Got me shooketh.
