Hopefully, Conan will straight up ask Rumi if she's the bodyguard of the American VIP but I just wonder when's a good opportunity for that moment to arise. He knows the truth about the 17 year case now. Rumi could lend Conan intel about the BO but I doubt she is willing to depart with such intel without getting her hands on Haibara.

Nahhh i doubt she's willing to, based on her character would tell that she prefer to walk alone without anyone's help. She's the type of person that hate when someone else being her obstacles so she rather push everyone away so she can get what she want, no offence to the kids.
