first time i read this, im amazed how they include story of side character later on ( totally unexpected ) , and turn out author keep doing it til latest chapter
Don't know if it was intentional of Gosho Aoyama to highlight some of japanese people's way of thinking with Kogorou's insensitive remark about the victim based on her appearance but even if he didn't intend to do so it's still very much a real thing.

I was taken aback about Kogoro's 'jungle comment. Like sheesh...
Again, I like how side characters like the inspector are given backstories and characters development. It helps make the characters more relatable and you do root for them to succeed in their goals.
