So none of them (bar Conan) knows the basic fact that childhood scars get smaller as body grows up?

I've had a scar when I was a kid, but it didn't increase nor decrease in size, that's not how scars work - well that would technically be a lie, it would hugely depend on the scar itself and how you treat it over time. I'm guessing the scar in THIS case wouldn't see any size changes.
