No matter what, this will always be my 1# manga.

Totally random realization, someone probably already listed it somewhere, but they sure love patterns in this manga:

• Akai/Okiya, former BO agent Rye, undercover FBI agent, once a red herring for Bourbon, brings in stew every time he wants to get involved in Conan's business.
• Rei, BO agent Bourbon, undercover agent of PSB, brings in sandwiches when he wants to get involved in Kogoro's, and by extension Conan's, business.
• Wakita, BO agent Rum, genuine agent surprisingly, brings in sushi when he wants to get involved in Kogoro's/Conan's business.

• Jodie, former english teacher in Shinichi's class, turned out to be undercover FBI agent, once a red herring for Vermouth, her motivation is revenge against Vermouth for killing her father.
• Rumi, deputy teacher in Conan's class, former bodyguard to American VIP, once a red herring for Rum, her motivation is revenge for the murder of said VIP who was like a mother to her.

They should really be extra watchful of teachers and people that bring in food in this series.
