say what now...seems rushed and anticlimatic like Thor vs Lu Bu

The story was pretty well paced until the last dozen or so of chapters. Sucks that Jun didn't get a proper end to her story, and I don't think Akira would of joined so simply.

That was a weird ending. I expected Asuka to be related to Ryou from the start, but definitely NOT this way! So the entire manga only existed so that Jun could have a baby and resurrect Akira? I can't say I'm satisfied... I know Devilman and Deviman Lady are part of the same universe, but I was genuinely getting fond of Lady's characters too and I wanted to see another kind of conclusion. Jun has a different approach than Akira, they're pretty different as heroes so it was interesting to see the differences and parallels of their stories; I wanted to see if she was truly willing to fight on that side in spite of all the moral conflicts until the end. Asuka too, she was a mysterious character at first, then a trusted friend, then incestuous lesbian lover out of nowhere lol. I lost it when she straight up (no pun intended) became a man to impregnate Jun. As insane as the last parts were, I definitely had fun with this manga. I just feel that we didn't really get meaningful closure for Jun and Asuka, being Satan's two halves.

Then... what comes next?

That's it...? I should've expected the ending to be rushed if it was a Nagai series, but at least the original devilman's ending made sense! Akira, despite hating Satan/Ryo and wanting humanity and devilmen to have peace with one another, just says "fuck it, lol" and joins him?!! Wtf?!!! All the development for every established character goes out the window. 😭 I still liked reading it, but man, these last chapters were a slap to the face.
