Wow. That was intense. I feel like if you want to get into Devilman, however, you should watch the Netflix series Devilman Crybaby, as it keeps the same plot, but elaborates on it with new characters and a modern twist. This mixed with great animation and voice acting makes it a great adaptation. The manga is also great, but for a newer generation, as we’ve been spoiled with other amazing art, the manga art kinda just makes the manga fall through.

This manga is a classic in every sense of the word/meaning. As the weebs say: it's a solid s tier. Read it.

My only complaint is I wish I got to see more of the final battle instead of it just cutting to the aftermath. Other than that, this is an absolute banger.

An obvious classic, don't need to tell you that. The ultimate version of Devilman (though I'd still say to watch the first two Devilman OVAs, as they act as pretty great adaptations of this story) with amazing fights, fantastic art, and page turns that'll make you shudder. Not too deep, but it doesn't need to be- Out of the few Nagai manga I've seen/read, this one stands leagues above the others.

a great Classic but the new anime is so disappointing
What the anime elaborated on the manga's characters and plot were great. I just wish the episode count was cut down to really hone in on the manga's themes.
