just binging the reread just now and i don't remember the last part, so bungaku banchou turned to be the mom's friend? or just impersonating her? (that would mean that she loved her friend's son which is uhh)

edit: a few minutes later i remembered that kongou banchou noticed another flower from unknown party, also wasn't bungaku banchou the news reporter?
