Seriously, this contract system makes no fucking sense.

The clients sell their soul, in a SCAM I might add, he only offered his soul on the condition he and the city survived, but in his life IT DID NOT, and the "reward" is a DREAM, a dream that RESETS AND BECOMES A NIGHTMARE THE SECOND THE CONTRACTOR LEAVES?! SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK? They sell their SOUL and get a FAKE DREAM and HAVE TO REPEAT THEIR NIGHTMARE, WORST MOMENT IN LIFE, OVER AND OVER AGAIN?! They don't even get to actually change their reality? It's all just a fucking game, whats the point of the missions when they don't actually DO anything? They sell their soul to make A VIDEO GAME FOR THE CONTRACTORS?!

And the requester don't even have the right to give up. This is their hell. Their hell is made all the worse, by the short glimmers of hope, the brief dream, before having to go back to the nightmare.

If I'm not mistaken, she was disappointed because he didn't develop a new personal attribute.

@CalamityCallout yeah I agree, does the system make more sense later? I mean this doesn't even seem to make sense with the mutual consent stuff, they didn't consent to this seemingly worse than useless stuff. And what is the point on the mission runner side? The game elements suggest there is a structure that knows how to solve it. So if the goal is a good outcome why not just give them more infos on how to solve it? Or do they need to train them for something?
