Discord ban appeal

Hello,

A few years ago now I was banned from the discord permanently for persistently pinging a group leader who was scanlating a series despite it having an english license because he asked his donators if he should drop it, and a few people said they would stop working on the series.

I may have also called all md staff pedos after my ban which probably didn't help.

The content that the group leader was scanlating has actually since been removed from the website and under the website rules, they wouldn't actually be allowed to work on this series anymore, so one might say that I was just ahead of the curve.

I would like to apologise for my conduct at the time, I should not have repeatedly pinged the user, and should have instead waited for mangadex as a compay to change the policies in a more positive light, and I should not have said the things that I said about the staff, nor should I have drawn attention to the content that the original founders of the website scanlated when the website was founded.

So to summarize:

1) You acknowledge you harassed another Discord member for no good reason.
2) In your "religious fervor" your flung slurs at any target in your line of site.
3) You acknowledge that you fucked up badly, and wish for your access to be reinstated, knowing that if you blow your top for the smallest thing again your account will be figuratively nuked from orbit.

It reads less like a simple apology and more like you’re reopening the entire situation, re-arguing your point, and subtly justifying yourself (“ahead of the curve,” policy changes, founders’ content, etc.). That defeats the purpose of apologizing.
