@Halesy Well, the traitor is big deal in the city. His clan fought against barbarian and sacrifice their life, so he care the safety of the city (his clan is included), and by what he said he's gonna leave the place. Then, he threaten to kill them and not care the safety of the city if they still disturb and won't give his clan protection or whatever. So, i understand his reason to let them live isn't because naive. If they died, surely the city won't have enough strenght to defense from enemys attack and surely his clan or innocent citizen will be the victim of the attack.
But yeah, it's back to what u believe.
