I have to say that so far I'm enjoying this arc way more than the wine one. It was nice for putting some focus on Shima and Kumiko's relationship but I could really only take so many instances of characters waxing poetic about fields and bouquets and the actual industry itself is just, frankly, not terribly interesting. Read less like a story and more like Hirokane wanting to go on about his love of wine.
The music industry is far more interesting as is the story we're getting. Shima being put in a position of having to play the tough manager and the corporate power struggle between him and the Sunlight execs who are seemingly not on the up and up and are trying to protect their turf is more what I like out of the Shima series. The supporting cast for this arc is really gelling too. It's nice to see old characters like Hoshi and Katsuko again, Chaco Mama and Chizuru have great chemistry, and Yatsuhashi has been a good character so far.
