There are saying "you can't save other if you can't even save yourself", this mostly referring to independency and reliability of oneself. But people, some of people, misunderstood and misinterpreted it.

Actually that is something we have to reflect and evaluate. Especially politicians or leaders or influencers. Don't get tricked.

Also there are ideals and directions. The problem is we don't know best, but doesn't mean we have to stop trying!
