Very solid manga, props to the author for keeping it compact and not dragging too much. Lots of nail biters in the story and worth re-visiting the first few chapters after completing it.

Look, its a solid manga and a very powerful plot but its just that the drama just doesnt match I think, it just felt like it was increasing tension for no reason when the plot itself is already tense - no need for bs. It was already good, why add other characters that dont do shit and detrack from the story?

So now my review for those who ignored that advice. I LOVE this manga. Hell, I would argue that it is a masterpiece, and I don't use that term easily. I'd never heard of this manga before, and I found it on MangaDex and read it on a whim.

If there's one thing I love to pay attention to, it is the characters. Every character in this story are interesting and got me emotionally involved. Whether it was a character growing or the reader's perspective changing, the investment and hopes for one's character keeps you flipping pages and being surprised until the end. When I thought I would have a character nailed, they would reveal a detail that would flip my opinion on its head.

The story telling was also immaculate. The twists were hard to predict, and when things seem simple, expectations would be dashed--in a good way! It is very dramatic and full of mystery without having an overbearing tragedy cause it like one might see in other media. The plot is complex, but it is overall easy to follow.

I seldom discuss the art, but I really enjoyed the art in this series. The characters were expressive and detailed, and the backgrounds conveyed the mood with a sense of realism that I loved. Seeing characters eyes have so much emotion without it being too clear what the emotion was sometimes brings a unique mystery to the manga.

10/10 As I said this is a masterpiece, especially for those versed in dramatic romance stories. I recommend everyone give this a read, and spread the word about it. I dread it when I consider how I almost passed over reading this. This has become one of my favorite works of all time.
