Like this sucks but ultimately I get it, if you've grown up learnign magic and the rules of how it works and everything you ever learn says "humans cannot be summoned" "there is no other world with magic" then yeah even if those are both lies, because it figures that the people who do know there's another world, and know that you can summon human beings would want to keep that unknown, especially considering we've already been told this magic world is divided on how magic should be used and if it should be kept a secret.

Genuinely if you tell someone 2-2 equals 4 when they've been thaught all their life that's it equals to 5 then yes that person is wrong but faulting them for being wrong is stupid, because the people who taught them have purposely failed this person.

In much the same way Kozumi really can't be blamed for reacting like this when, yes to her he is just making shit up to avoid telling her why he disappeared and why it took him so long to come back.

It was literally similar to what happened with science in the past, where many people believed that the Earth was the center of the solar system instead of the Sun, while they shunned others who said otherwise, and it stayed like that for a very long period until the renaissance era.

In her case, she's the super orthodox kind of person, and she also very closed-minded, where she just flat out refused to any explanation he gave + called him heretic/delusional, instead of trying to debunking it herself with her own knowledge.

I'd really hope the MC just moved on with his life, and find another girl, because this bimbo is a lost cause...

to be fair to her, to parallel the story in a more realistic way, this story is like if you became an engineer by going through school for many years and then you meet your childhood friend who was missing for years, that also became an engineer(a completely ordinary engineer who still seems to obey actual engineering rules) and he tells you that he became an engineer because aliens kidnapped him and taught him how to be an engineer. It would sound ridiculous and hard to believe

I think he overshared his story but Koizumi probably wouldn't have believed it anyway and she's right not to since it sounds incredibly made-up. Still though, I think she lacks emotional maturity to understand that Satou experienced a life altering experience that has been the source of much trauma and confusion for him, compounding that with an out of left field accusation that he's secretly a bad actor reveals she's got kind of a petty streak.

Not bad, I think I would hate her more if she'd been another perfect waifu trope, her rejecting Satou's explanation and the interaction ending so badly to the point where bro's squeezing her shoulder like that, that's good drama. She still a dumb bitch for doubting my goat, team Sasamine.
