Ikr i thought it would be weird at first seeing the story here have nearly no connection to the main game but this exposition just changes the game, yukitoshi failed to kill reiji so his "protege" would be the one to end it all, makes me wonder if more people other than vee/reiji or michika have any sort of association to the events of the first game. (Not counting the current detective that took the mantle of the first one in the first game ofc)
