I suppose this is correct, I don't know if it's been mentioned before but there probably have been other kudoku's done before by rival cults, since this is the case mentioned in the first series it appears that vee and emi are survivors. I do hope vee isn't actually reiji and is just a random guy. This is a character assassination and a half if all of his tenacity for surviving the first game gets all thrown to the dust, he certainly deserves that fate but I wish he just did more as a returner player.

With Emi saying she's also Reiji, I think it is pretty likely Reiji isn't involved at all and Vee is just some guy who went through a kodoku. "Reiji" is just what she's calling them as survivors who ate human meat, maybe.

I used to think she was Mari because of the ending of the original, but I think she was just in the kodoku group or was made to play a different one. If that is her kid at the beginning then maybe she's cursing everyone that caused that. I don't really know though.

Basically just don't think they're Reiji or Mari.

So … Mari? She was hinted to deliver her child safely in the end of the first one though, was that also an illusion? V/Reiji also doesn't seem to have a strong memory of the previous kodoku as well, is that truly Reiji?

Or do they all bear the burden of Reiji's curse? Mari was adopted into the fold of the cult, after all. If Reiji decided to curse everyone causing the kodoku, ime., the cult, she'd bear his curse, too.

Hello sorry to ask, I don't want to seem unpleasant or whatever but it's an hoe st question to the awesome translator here: I'm super new to mangas in general, to mangadex and to dealing with translations etc...

@idontloveanyone Translation groups have their own schedules. They may release weekly, monthly, or maybe anytime they want. Depends on how many members, projects, and how much they're committed. Sometimes another group may pick the project up if there's not enough activity. If the manga you're following doesn't update right away, then that's normal. You can be a leacher like us. Just find some other mangas you like, or binge on something already fully translated.
