Exciting read so far. I have ambivalent feelings about Toyotomi Hideyoshi since I am also reading Nobunaga no Chef, but yknow, I still don't like him that much here haha. I'm liking it a lot, so I'll follow this series! Thanks for picking it up!

@viridescentlights Different media paints Hideyoshi differently so I can say Japanese also have mixed feelings about him. Some see him as a great man, some see him as cruel. Even in video games, Sengoku Basara portrayed him as a ruthless conqueror while Sengoku Musou portrayed him as a friendly man.

@miyako19 Very much so! I think he's friendly in his own way, but that he can be too absorbed in himself. Even in otome games, he can be a bit selfish. So yeah, I also have mixed feelings about Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Thanks for explaining though! I appreciate knowing this a lot!
